Garrotxa Volcanic Park

Introduction to the Park: Castellfollit de la Roca (basaltic columns)

Croscat Volcano: variations in the form, type and frequency of eruption, relating volcanic landforms to the nature of the plate boundary/hot spot.

 Santa Margarida : volcanic landforms (2 hours)

Walk to Santa Pau (1 hour): changes in rural settlements study.

Visit the earthquake museum; characteristics of earthquakes; earthquake simulator; earthquake hazard management.
